$225.50 blood diamond
A.C. de Noblecourt: went to see blood diamond. sucked ass
Pynchon Ahab: I had a feeling when the American Talabac said it was a great movie...
A.C. de Noblecourt: movie against fictional de beers
Pynchon Ahab: Anything else fun this weekend?
A.C. de Noblecourt: where they show fictional de beers buying sierra leonian diamonds (illlegal) by pretending that they are from liberia
A.C. de Noblecourt: so bad bad bad people. And at the end of the movie, the following text : When buying diamonds, ask that they are conflict free
Pynchon Ahab: Ha!
A.C. de Noblecourt: which seems to me would benefit to the cartel (e.g. de beers) as it would keep supply low
A.C. de Noblecourt: anyway, kinda sad that it costed me $222.50 to watch it

Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle.
